Thompson Estate Cabernet Merlot is a blend of Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and small amounts of other varieties such as Malbec and Cabernet Franc.

During fermentation, the juice is gently pumped over three times a day to extract colour from the grape skins. Once pressed, the wine matures for 15 months in seasoned French oak.

Deep red purple, Thompson Estate Cabernet Merlot is medium to full bodied with juicy red fruit flavours and velvety tannins. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
